3 Days Tour from Errachidia to Marrakech

Your 3-day desert journey from Errachidia to Marrakech begins with a convenient pick-up from Moulay Ali Cherif Airport or anywhere in Errachidia.

From there, you will travel through the stunning Ziz Valley, where we will stop at a panoramic viewpoint to take in the breathtaking scenery and capture some unforgettable photos. The valley is a dramatic oasis of thousands of palm trees stretching along the Ziz River.

The journey then continues toward the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes, passing through Erfoud, known as the capital of fossils. The desert around Erfoud is rich in marine fossils dating back millions of years.

Upon arrival in Merzouga, your desert experience truly begins. You will meet your camel guide and set off on a peaceful ride across the golden dunes, enjoying the calm and beauty of the Sahara for about 30 minutes as you make your way to the camp.

At the end of the ride, you will arrive at your desert camp, where a warm local welcome awaits. Enjoy a traditional evening, relax under a sky full of stars, and spend an unforgettable night in the heart of the desert.

On the second day of your 3-day desert tour from Errachidia to Marrakech, you will start your morning with a delicious breakfast at the camp, surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the Sahara.

Afterward, enjoy a camel ride back to Merzouga, where your journey continues toward the spectacular Dades Gorges. Along the way, you will pass through Rissani – a historic town known as the cradle of Morocco's ruling family and once a key hub for ancient caravan routes. We will make a short stop here to explore its unique atmosphere, including the traditional souk.

Next, you will head to the breathtaking Todra Gorges, where you can take a relaxing walk beneath towering cliffs that rise up to 300 meters high – a truly impressive natural wonder. The canyon walls are so close in some places that only 10 meters separate them.

By the evening, you will arrive in the Dades Gorges, where you will settle into a comfortable hotel or riad. Enjoy a traditional dinner and unwind after a day full of discovery.

On the final day of your Errachidia to Marrakech desert tour, you will begin the morning with a peaceful walk through the beautiful Dades Gorges, taking in the unique rock formations and fresh mountain air. The valley is known for its dramatic monkey fingers rock formations and ancient kasbahs.

Afterward, you will continue toward Ouarzazate, often called the Hollywood of Morocco, where you will visit the famous Atlas Studios and discover some of the iconic film sets used in international productions.

The journey then takes you to the legendary Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most spectacular fortified villages in Morocco. This historic site has been featured in many famous films and series, including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Game of Thrones. You will have time to walk through the narrow alleyways of this red adobe kasbah and climb to the top for panoramic views.

Following a relaxing lunch in the village (not included), you will continue your drive to Marrakech, crossing the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters. Along the way, we will stop at a scenic viewpoint to admire the stunning landscapes.

You will arrive in Marrakech by the evening, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or riad, marking the end of your unforgettable desert adventure.
