Day 01 :

Marrakech → Zagora

Morning – Departure & Atlas Mountains

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech. We drive south toward the majestic High Atlas Mountains, crossing the famous Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260 meters). Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views and several photo stops along the way.

Midday – Aït Ben Haddou

Our first major stop is Aït Ben Haddou, a stunning ancient fortified village made of red adobe. This UNESCO World Heritage site has served as a backdrop for famous films like Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia. You'll have time to explore its narrow streets, climb to the top for incredible views, and learn about its fascinating history.

Afternoon – Journey to Zagora

We continue through the dramatic landscapes of the Anti-Atlas mountains, passing palm groves and rocky plateaus. We arrive in Zagora, famously known as the "Gateway to the Desert." Remember the iconic sign: "Timbuktu 52 days".

Evening – Berber Camp Experience

You'll spend the night in a traditional Berber camp in the heart of the desert. Enjoy:

A delicious Moroccan dinner (vegetarian option available)
Live Berber music around the campfire
Stargazing in the crystal-clear desert sky

Day 02 :

Zagora → Marrakech

Morning – Camel Ride & Sunrise

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking desert sunrise. After breakfast, mount your camel for a memorable ride through the golden dunes. Each person gets their own camel. You'll feel like a true nomad as you sway across the soft sand.

Mid-morning – Hidden Oasis Visit

After your camel trek, we visit a hidden oasis tucked between palm trees. Here you can:

Relax in the shade of date palms
Enjoy a traditional Berber lunch (not included, but available on request)
Learn how desert communities survive and thrive in this harsh environment

Afternoon – Return to Marrakech

We begin our journey back to Marrakech, retracing the path through the Anti-Atlas and High Atlas mountains. More photo stops along the way. We drop you off at your accommodation in Marrakech in the late afternoon or early evening.
